Trampled Underfoot Podcast – 91 – Enamels and Spaniards and Jerks – Oh My!
Why would someone use enamel paint for a woodworking project? Well, for lots of reasons – but that doesn’t mean you have to like it. Mark Lindsay tells why he hates using enamels in woodworking. Eloy Escagedo tells us about two men with the surname Escagedo who were executed in Spain for taking part in a rebellion in the 1250s. It turns out these were the first 2 documented mentions of that surname, and the reason for it was pretty wild. Finally, the twosome discuss the general distrust (hatred) for paid promotions in YouTube videos, and Mark asks why the mere mention of a product endorsement suddenly negates everything else about the video. Is a carving any less cool because a company sent the carver the knife?
Lots to talk about, lots to discuss, and lots of interesting opinions to share in Episode 92 of the Trampled Underfoot Podcast!
